I have eight years of experience.

I come from a long line of care givers.

My Grandmother worked in Head Start for many
years and helps out from time to time.

My mother has an in home daycare that she
has run most of my life. I worked for her and then
managed her daycare for a few years prior to
opening my own in the Fall of 2006.

DESCRIPTION:

I strive to create a warm loving environment, with a wonderful staff and my doating family. The program I provide is one of structure with plenty of time for free play in order to keep their imagination growing.

PHILOSOPHY:

Here at Tawnie's Tigers I pride myself on the education, socialization and development of the children that come thru my doors. I am committed to giving your child the best care possible for they are our future. I have a home environment that encourages your child to learn in a warm, safe atmosphere.

REGISTRATION:

I like to meet with the family at least one time prior to the start date. I interview Monday-Friday 3:00PM-5:00PM, please call to schedule an interview time. In order to hold a spot, I have to have paperwork for the child, the $50 non refundable registration fee and require the first week's payment prior to starting.

TUITION:

Full time and part time rates vary and will be presented in your intial interview.

MEALS & MENUS:

The children in my care are enrolled in a USDA food program. I provide Morning Snack, Lunch, and Afternoon Snack. If your child has any food allergies the program requires a note from the Doctor.

Typical Day:

7:30 to 8:45....... Children arriving. Free Play.
8:45 to 9:00....... Clean-up.
9:00 to 9:30....... Snack
9:30 to 10:15...... Preschool
(includes calendar, weather, music, songs,name recognition, arts and crafts, and storytime)
10:45 to 11:00..... Clean-up.
10:45 to 11:15..... Wind down time. Looking at books, songs. Varies.
11:00 to 11:15..... Lunch Preparation
11:15 to 11:45..... Lunch 11:30 to 12:00..... Clean-up and prepare for nap
12:00 to 2:30....... Rest time (Rest or Quiet time is required for all children)
2:00 to 2:30........ Wake up. Put away mats and blankets
2:45 to 3:00........ Snack Time
3:00 to 5:00........ Free Play (Outdoor, Indoor, finish preschool projects)
4:45 to 5:30........ Clean-up and Dance, Sing, or Read books until parents arrive

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS:

I am located between Downtown Bothell and Canyon Park and close to all three Bothell Exits from I-405.

CURRICULUM INFORMATION:

Each Month we will have three new themes, the children will learn pre reading, pre math, and pre science concepts. We also work on the development of large and fine motor skill with Dancing & Singing. On Tuesday mornings we have Gymnastics at 10:00 (this is an additional cost) and brought in by Cascade Elite Gymnastics Mobile Service.
