DESCRIPTION:
Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center strives to provide a warm nurturing program
for the children of working parents who need to feel secure that their children are well cared for while they must be away.
The center will make every effort to assure that the children in its care will be well supervised throughout the day,
are fed nutritious meals and snacks, and are given the individual attention necessary to provide for their comfort
and growth during these important years of their lives. The center hopes that when a parent returns to pick up their child
they will find a happy youngster satisfied with the day's experiences and eager to go home and return to the center the following day.
We want to maintain close contact with the families associated with the center to provide the finest child care services in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
All young children deserve:
Nurturing, supportive physical care provided by parents and care takers that will foster healthy mental and physical development.
To have adequate housing and physical environments that will continue to foster mental and physical worth.
To experience materials and relationships with adults to foster basic trust, sense of self and identity.
To understand and accept individuality to foster self-esteem and positive images.
To promote achievements and sharing of all cultures and identities.
To grow, achieve, and develop self-esteem.

Minimum enrollment of at least 3 days per week
Hours of operation are 6:00am to 6:00pm

MEALS & MENUS:
We are apart of the CACFP.
Approved meals and snacks are always provided to your child.
We provided breakfast, am snack, and lunch.
Parents are responsible for providing pm snack.

PHILOSOPHY INFORMATION:
At Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center we believe that children gain a sense of security from knowledge that there are consistent,
responsible limits and that these limits are designed to nurture and protect them. We recognize that each child is an individual.
We provide an environment that promotes the complete development of children preparing them to advance to a school age education program.
The curriculum at Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center follows the standards established by the National Association for the
Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The center will provide children with developmentally appropriate early childhood experiences that
stimulate learning in all developmental areas and focus on age appropraite learning environments and individual needs. Scribbles & Giggles
Child Care Learning Center will provide an atmosphere that will facilitate a balance between child-initiated, child-directed, and
teacher-supported interactions. All activities are geared around individual needs of all children participating in the program.

CURRICULUM INFORMATION:
We run a year round pre school program though Mother Goose Time and Funshine Express. Both of these are GREAT preschool programs and supply crafts, songs, outside and inside activities and are focused on each childs age group.

STAFFING INFORMATION:
All 25 of our staff meet or exceed the licensing expectations to work in our center.
All lead teachers have at least 5 years previous experience working with young children.

LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS:
Located just minutes from downtown Lansing.
1 block south of the Irish Pub on Saginaw Hwy & 5 blocks north of Sexton High School.
