ABOUT US

Description of Program: Smartie Pants focuses on maintaining an age appropriate scheduled curriculum that includes arts and crafts, fun physical exercises, an academic activity, story time, and free play. Each week, your child will be focused on a different color, shape and letter. Our arts and crafts will center around this focus. Every month, I will provide you with a calendar that maps out these focuses and gives an accurate menu for the daily snacks and meals. QUALIFICATIONS

Registered through the state of Kansas. I have 9 years experience with children and I am a mother of one 2 year old. I also have a bachelors degree from the University of Kansas.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that each and every child deserves an environment that is loving, nurturing, and educational. My goal is to work with the parents on a structured, loving environment that helps prepare children for kindergarten and enriches their growth. I feel that when parents are paying someone for child care, they should be aware of each and every activity their child(ren) participates in. When the provider and parents work together, children thrive! I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging creativity!
