Description:
Here at Smartie Pants, I pride myself in the education your child receives. We have age appropriate educational activities for ages 18 months all the way up to before/after school kids. I strive to create a loving environment where your child can learn the values of respect, responsibility, learning, and fun!

·CPR and first aid certified
·4 years in home child care experience
·B.A. from the University of Kansas

Philosophy:
My philosophy is that each and every child deserves an environment that is loving, nurturing, and educational. My goal is to work with the parents on a structured, loving environment that helps prepare children for kindergarten and enriches their growth. I feel that when parents are paying someone for child care, they should be aware of each and every activity their child(ren) participates in. When the provider and parents work together, children thrive! I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging creativity and individuality. Each and every child is special and unique!

Meals & Menus:
I participate in the food program through Daycare Connection. This basically means I have to report exactly what I'm feeding the children and you can count on your child getting healthy, fresh, home cooked meals! We also do activities in which the children help prepare snacks of a wide variety to help encourage a vast pallet.

Curriculum:
I provide an age appropriate curriculum that includes things such as puzzles, music, computer time, story time, puppet shows, learning time arts and crafts, and an extensive selection of educational toys.

Staffing:
I myself watch the children and my husband is my state approved sub should I have to go to an appointment, school function, etc.
