Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing setting that is conducive to your child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. In concert with you, the parent(s), we plan to build character, self-esteem, and self-confidence in your child. Our early education curriculum has been created to focus on the needs of children ages birth to five years. In order to make the transition a positive experience for your child, we will schedule an appointment at a suitable time for your child and yourself to get acquainted and tour the day care home prior to the first day of enrollment. This time will offer an opportunity to meet the staff, express any concerns or ask any questions, and familiarize the child with a typical day in the group home. Prior to the first day of enrollment, the primary caregiver(s) will meet to review and complete the enrollment application, medical and emergency authorization forms, immunization and health records, financial obligations, and any additional documents required by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Full-time enrollment rates are based on a 5-10 hour daily schedule. TUITITION INFO: In order to meet your expectations and support your child, tuition is due and payable on the Friday before the Monday of each week. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged for late payment. If payments are not received within a reasonable time or tuition payments are consistently late, disenrollment may be considered. Parents who enroll more than one child will be offered a discount for the second child. Enrollment rates will vary from $135 - $170 weekly. MEALS AND MENUS: We are committed to promoting good eating habits for the children in our care. The menus and recipes that are offered contain a variety of nutrients that are considered essential to the health of your child while meeting licensing requirements. Menus are posted weekly regarding the lunches and snacks we provide STAFFING: The ratio of teacher to child meets state licensing requirements, which is one to five, or less. Although your child may interact at times with other staff, he/she will gain a close, nurturing relationship with a constant teacher who will guide and support your child on a daily basis. This stable relationship between child and teacher will better enhance an independent, self-confident child. The day care staff is trained to guide your child’s development and education. Ongoing professional development is also required. Your child’s teacher will supply you with weekly progress reports of your child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development PARENT INFORMATION: Open communication between staff and parents is vital to encourage your child’s growth. Knowing what your child is experiencing during his/her day allows you to reinforce those skills and activities at home. Therefore, daily and weekly reports on your child’s progress will be provided. We encourage your visits to the day care home. Special activities and events to share your child’s development are scheduled for you to attend throughout the year. FINANCIAL ASSITANCE: Currently applying for a DES contract/services CURRICULUM: A WARM, SAFE, CLEAN AND CARING ENVIRIONMENT HAS BEEN CREATED TO ENSURE A SENSE OF SECURITY AND CONFIDENCE FOR YOUR CHILD. AGE-APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT AND TOYS ARE USED TO ENGAGE AND STIMULATE YOUR CHILD. CURRICULUM IS ADAPTED TO EACH CHILD’S LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT AND LEARING STYLE. DAILY ACTIVITIES DEVELOP MUSIC & MOVEMENT, ART AND SENSORY, MATH, LANGUAGE, READING, PREWRITING, SCIENCE FINE MOTOR AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS THAT ARE BALANCED THROUGHOUT THE CURRICULUM. SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS ARE FOSTERED IN A SMALL HOMEY ATMOSPHERE. PARENTS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES OFFERED. ADDTIONAL INFORMATION: We realize that parents have little time to spend alone, the day care home will be open to full-time families on the last Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at an hourly rate of $8.00 per hour. We request that you notify us at least 72 hours in advance if you plan to schedule time on a Saturday at the day care home.
