DESCRIPTION
This is a home based day care, I am dedicated to making this an environment that your child feels just as comfortable and loved here as at home. Entire 1st floor is open to the children with a Great room that is dedicated solely to children's activities. Huge back yard is fenced in with a wooden swing/slide/climbing wall set, as well as other outdoor toys such as little tykes house etc.. We make time for fresh air time everyday when weather permits.
QUALIFICATIONS
I am an experienced provider (20+ years) and mother(17 years). I have five wonderful children ranging from the curious toddler stage to the trying teenage stages! In addition to providing care for children in my home, I have also been an Army Certified Home Day Care Provider as well as a Church Childcare Provider. I am CPR/First Aid qualified for Adults, Children, and Infants.
PHILOSOPHY
It is my goal to provide each and every child in my care, a safe, healthy, comfortable, happy and nurturing environment, where they can play, learn, feel safe, gain confidence in themselves, and to feel loved. I know the worries of a working parent. Please be assured that I treat all children with the love and patience as anyone of my own!
I believe in structured as well as unstructured activities. Some examples of my structured activities are pre-school activities, such as letters, numbers, story reading, computer learning, arts and crafts, music and movement. Some unstructured activities would include free play, outdoor play, coloring, age appropriate computer games (ie: Knowledge Adventure programs) as well as music and books.
It is my belief that children benefit most from consistant daily routines, giving them a much needed sense of security, especially while away from Mommy or Daddy. I, however, am also a mother and understand very well, that schedules are meant to be bent when it comes to little ones! So sometimes our schedules will be altered to fit the needs of the group as a whole.
The greatest priority here, is that we have FUN! I will do my best to maintain cleanliness in my house while your children are here, but please understand that children's work (playing is their job!) can be very messy and turn a house upside down. Making sure the children are happy and having fun will always take precedence over a spic and span house! That being said, please rest assured that I do keep a clean house!
Registration & Tuition
There is a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee that is applied to the child's
last week of child care if two weeks notice of termination is given.
6 weeks to 3 years is $125.00
3 years(and potty trained) to 4 years $120.00 a week
School age and up $110.00 a week full time (full time care)
After School Care (afternoon) $60 week (no extra charge for teacher work days).
Before and after School care $85.00
hourly care (after contracted hours) $5.00/hour
Back up care $30.00/day for more than 3 hours - max of 9 hours.
Meals & Menus
I will offer a healthy breakfast, am snack, lunch, and afternoon snack everyday.
Breakfast - served from 7:00 - 7:30
AM Snack - 9:30
Lunch - served from 11:00 - 11:30
Afternoon snack - 2:30
You are responsible for feeding your child if they will be arriving at child care after a meal time.
I serve 2% milk to children over the age of two, if you prefer any other milk, then I will provide
it at an extra charge, or you can provide if you like.
You may send treats as long as there is enough for everyone to share – please do not send gum!
BABY MEALS
Baby food, baby snacks, and formula will be provided by the parent. I will provide nursery water for formula. I support and encourage nursing mothers. I will serve your breastmilk to your child if it's already in bottles, or plastic storage bottles (not bags).
