Philosophy:

Every child is born with an individual personality that needs only encouragement, guidance and positive discipline to blossom good solid self-esteem.

Qualifications:

I have been a licensed day care provider now for 20 years. 14 years in Monterey County, and 6 years in Elk Grove now. I have had no complaints in all 20 years. I have taken countless courses over the years based on childcare including safety, education and of course I'm CPR/First Aid certified as well as are all my three assistants. We have all been fingerprinted and background checked as per license requirements. I have added on extra room to my home,(per city code) to suit the needs of my daycare children including infants. Infants and older children are mostly apart in separate rooms for safety reasons but can see each other easily through fortified glass doors (mainly to keep noise level down for infants).

Meals & Menus:

All meals are made fresh and homecooked with health in mind. Breakfast, mid A.M snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack and dinner if child is kept late.

Staffing Info:

I have two assistants, one dedicates herself to the pre-school/classroom setting portion of the day. While I do the cooking, arts, crafts and gentle discipline when needed. Other assistant is always available when a situation arises that may require a third person. I keep my day care small in numbers never having more than 10 children at a time.

Curriculum:

From 10am - 12pm there is a kinder readiness course geared towards any child under the age of 5. It's fun and energetic learning of basic concepts needed to be successful when your child enters kindergarten..
