Description Of Center:

I provide a loving, safe, clean, and smokefee home enviroment with a large backyard. My license is for 8 children but I usually enroll 4 (never more than 6) so I can give each child lots of individual care and attention.

Qualifications:

I have been caring for children since 1996, and have been licensed in Elk Grove since 2005. I have three wonderful children and more than 9 years home-schooling experience from pre school through 5th grade. I have a deep and unending commitment to the children in my care and their families.

Philosophy

My philosophy is simple. Young children learn best by living! Playing, talking, being talked to and being listened to, singing, dancing, laughing, loving and being loved, making mistakes, seeing the word and getting messy are the real thing that help children learn, grow and thrive. As a mother and childcare provider it is my responsibility to treat your child with dignity and respect, to nuture them and keep them safe, to encourage them to try new things and to expose them to creative and stimulating enviroments.

Registration Information:

No registration fees. Once I recieve your deposit and paperwork your childcare rate is locked and will never increase while your child is enrolled. All meals, field trips, activities, and adventures are included in your child's fee, there are no extra charges to you. Call for current rates and deposit information.

Meals & Menu Descriptions

I serve breakfast, morning snack, homemade hot lunch, and afternoon snack each day.

Staffing Information:

There are 2 adults present most of the time and my teenage daughter helps in when she can.

Financial Assitance Information:
Child Action, Inc. payments are accepted after I recieve a Child Care Certificate and Attendance Form from case worker.

Curriculum Information:

Each week we spend time on letter and number recognition, begining phonics, counting, reading, arts and crafts, music and movement, and cooking..

Great Elk Grove location - right off Big Horn Blvd, between Elk Grove Blvd and Laguna Blvd. Just south of the Century 16 Theatre, and in the Miwok Park neighborhood.
