Welcome to Cubbie Bear Daycare. We offer childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 24 months. Our home is designed to provide a nurturing home atmosphere with large dedicated areas where children can actively learn and play. We maintain a low teacher to child ratio. Therefore, your child will receive the kind of close attention he or she deserves.
Qualifications:
Mother of a toddler
Four years of experience working with infants and toddlers
CPR/First-Aid
Master's degree in education
Reading Specialist
Six years of teaching experience in grades K-5
Three years of experience tutoring children in reading
Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year in 2004

Philosophy:
The first years of a child's life are extremely important. It is during this time that the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development should begin. Through nurturing and individualized attention, we take great care to provide a warm, friendly, and fun environment for your child.

Registration Info:
I require a $75 non refundable fee to secure your child's spot for daycare. If you need me to hold it for longer than one week, you will be required to pay our full-time rate.

Tuition Info:
Tuition fees vary depending on your child's age. Please call me or email me if you have questions.

Our curriculum of choice is Mother Goose Time.

Staffing:
I currently have two assistants. My mother will be working with me over the summer. She has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. She also has over 15 years of childcare experience. My husband also assists me with feeding and playing with the children. He has been a Police Officer for five years. He is also a wonderful father and loves kids!
