First Steps Family Daycare gives children the opportunity to grow and learn through both guided and free play. Children have the opportunity to explore the many centers available that will encourage their creativity and imagination to grow and develop.

First Steps Family Daycare is a home based daycare, run by myself, Debbie McDonald in Brockton, Mass. I previously was in the medical field for 18 years and after the birth of my third daughter I decided that I wanted to provide other parents with what I wanted for my own children, a safe and loving home environment. I received my license from the Office of Childcare Services in October, 2003 and will be advancing to a 6+2 license in the fall of 2005.

Philosophy:

My philosophy on a home daycare environment is that I want my home to be a home away from home for your kids. I know how hard it is to leave your kids on a daily basis and go to work. If I can make that part of your day easier by making you feel that your kids are safe and loved, both of our goals are accomplished.
